By:  Lifebook Member Chris Condon When I turned 21, I decided to become a real estate agent.  My timing was excellent as the greatest boom market ever was just getting started.  In 2006, I bought my first home and 2007 was my best year financially. I was doing pretty well for a 27-year old. In 2008 I was on track to have another great year, until August when the world began to change. In a two-week period, I had over $60,000 in potential income vanish as deals began to fall apart.  All my clients where scared about the future and backed out of contracts. That’s when I realized that being a real estate agent had just gotten very difficult. With little to no money coming in and plenty of expenses, I began racking up credit card debt.  I also borrowed money from my parents.  I had about $10,000 in credit card debt and had borrowed $10,000 from my parents trying to survive. In June 2009, I realized that I can’t borrow my way out of this problem and in order to survive, I have to stop making my mortgage payment.  I decided to put a “for sale” sign in the yard and sell my home. In December, the official foreclosure was filed.  By the end of 2009 I had worked very hard all year, but only earned $13,000 in total income. It was about this time when I first learned about Lifebook and attended the March 2010 session.  I would like to say that from then on, my life has been a fairy tale, but honestly that is not the case.

By Lifebook Member Jeremy Smith A great quote by Jerry Rice has really impacted me, and fit well within my Lifebook experience thus far: "Today I will do what others won't, so tomorrow I can accomplish what other's can't." Another great quote: "Large impacts are the combinations of many small ones." The Lifebook process has already had a profound effect on me personally, and in many areas of my family life. And the biggest unlocking move for me was in the habit setting section. I've spent a lot of time in the past few years working on goal setting, and vision / values creation....with average success. And, I've always considered myself to have good control over my habits. However, the reframe of setting habits specifically to achieve goals was the missing element in my game. I am now looking at all of my goals, short and long term, and asking myself what habits do I need to create or break to achieve these goals. And being really specific with the habits in the way I create and execute them.

By Lifebook Member Marddi Rahn Over the last eight weeks since I have attended my Lifebook session, I have been asked over and over, "What is Lifebook?" In the beginning, I wasn't quite sure how to put into words. But after a couple of weeks, I...

By: Jessi Kohlhagen “Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.” -The Bhagavad Gita The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj meaning union, communion, and to bind, join, direct, and concentrate one’s attention on. Mahadev Desai, in his introduction to the Gita according to Gandhi defines yoga as “the yoking of all the powers of body, mind and soul to God; the disciplining of the intellect, the mind, the emotions, the will.” While yoga is indeed a physical practice, its main intention lies in the union of body, mind and spirit. It transcends the mere physical realm and supports us mentally, energetically, spiritually, morally and holistically. To the yogi, the body is the prime instrument of spiritual enlightenment and oneness with God. It’s the palpable vehicle for our spirit. If the vehicle breaks down, the traveller cannot go far. The yogi knows that the needs of the body are also the needs of the divine spirit, which lives through the body. Ultimately, a yogi’s life becomes focused on the question: “How do I become free, whole and alive?” Through a dedicated yoga practice we discover the inexhaustible number of answers to this profound question. This article serves to share some of these answers. Whether you are just beginning your yoga journey, or being called back to a lifelong practice, yoga is sure to change your life again and again.

This program OVER delivers.  Every time!  That's what most impresses me about Lifebook.  I do know how special this is, because I've done a lot of these things and been involved in this world [of personal development] for a long time and NOTHING compares to what Lifebook delivers.  The transformation I see is mind blowing! I want to personally thank you guys, because although I've been doing this stuff for a long time it's Lifebook that kicked my life up one huge notch.  Everything I wrote down in my Lifebook almost 2 years ago has come true.  I am TOTALLY living that life right now.  Only 2 short years later.  And I thought I was dreaming BIG.  I thought I was dreaming just beyond what I could achieve.  But less than 2 years later, it is 95% attained! I am so grateful to you guys for this program!  The content is REMARKABLE.  You put the bar so high in all the categories that you allow us to really go for it.  The process is perfect.  It makes you go DEEP and really get clear.  Then the VIP Bootcamp is beyond powerful.  There's nothing that will get you where you want to go like the Bootcamp!  I feel so honored and grateful to be a part of this community!  And I'm excited to help us grow in ANY way possible!

This month, in honor of the Emotional category of focus, Lifebook Member and author Lori Losch is sharing a chapter from her newest book Safe Souls: Transforming Relationships and Business with us.

CHAPTER 60

SAFE SOULS: TRANSFORMING RELATIONSHIPS AND BUSINESSES THROUGH THE POWER OF KIND, CLEAN AND CLEAR COMMUNICATION

BY LORI LOSCH

THE ORIGINS
I recently had the privilege of spending time with Sir Richard Branson on Necker Island, his gorgeous private oasis in the BVIs. Various events took place throughout the week—kite surfing, tennis tournaments, business mastermind sessions, theme parties and more. About 25 people attended, representing 15 different companies. During one of the masterminds, each company’s leader was asked to present a 10-minute TED-style talk. The topic? … An idea that has added at least $250,000 to the company’s bottom line. My husband Ken Losch, Founder and CEO of Advanced Green Innovations and Trillium Residential, asked me if he could share Safe Souls—a distinction I created and he subsequently implemented in his own life. I loved that a gathering of international business leaders would soon be hearing about Safe Souls. It has significantly impacted my life, has wildly benefitted Ken’s businesses and has been transformational in our personal relationships, so we’d love for Safe Souls to go global. The world needs more kindness and this formula has the power to usher it in.
