When Sean was born doctors predicted he would not survive past birth because of a rare bone disorder that stunted his growth and caused his bones to be extremely fragile. Despite these challenges, he’s taken a stand for a quality of life that has reached millions of people around the world, including Sir Richard Branson, President Clinton, and his Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

He’s appeared on everything from The Oprah Show to YouTube videos with millions of views. The Biography Channel did an hour feature on his life called, “Three Foot Giant.”

His message has been heard at live events in over 15 countries and 47 states over the past 16 years. His latest book, “Get Off Your ‘But!’” has swept the US and been released in over a half dozen languages around the world.

As a board certified therapist, Sean uses humor and compassion to develop a fun environment where individuals open their hearts and minds for lasting empowerment to occur.

The reality is that Sean has been given an army of reasons to give up… to quit.  But the thing that sets Sean apart is the fact that he’s not afraid of the truth… to admit that he HAS quit numerous times.  The difference, though, is that after he’s done ;quitting and pouting,’ he puts on his big boy pants and gets back out there.  He falls down a lot more than people realize.  But he’s figured out how to bounce back faster.  He’s literally built himself a life where he CAN’T quit, because he has people and procedures around him that won’t allow him to stay down for very long.

In this interview, Sean shares one of his powerful daily strategies with us called his “When Life Works List.”  This list is made up of 16 things, and of these 16 things if he can accomplish ANY 4 in a day, he will be unstoppable.  Here is his list:

1.  Hydrate
2.  Exercise at least 3 days a week
3. Connecting to some spiritual education
4. Journaling
5. Meditating
6. 6-8 hours of sleep
7. Hygiene and groom
8. Organize and clean
9. One meal a day that’s nothing but vegetables
10. Reviewing money and marketing materials
11. Following up with advocates/mentors
12. Connecting with my wife daily
13. Review my goals, my vision, my Lifebook
14. Plan out my day on paper
15. Reach out to my God children
16. Create some form of new content

These things give Sean the character, the inner strength, the fortitude he needs to handle whatever is thrown his way.

Sean is also dedicated to being the CAUSE in his own life… taking full responsibility for himself and becoming the driving force behind everything he wants to accomplish.  In fact, he believes so strongly in this principle that he recently had a powerful reminder tattooed on his wrist.  Here it is:

And it stands for “CAUSE is greater than EFFECT.”  When you live ‘in cause’ you believe that it’s 100% up to you to create the results you want in life.

Sean believes that everything that happens TO you happens FOR you, and he is a shining example that adversity can be a true catalyst for greatness.
